Our beautiful Bee Hobey comb necklace is inspired by Deborah, the only female judge and a prominent prophetess in the Old Testament. Her story is recorded in Judges 4-5. In Hebrew, her name literally means “bee” or “honeybee”. This reflects her dual nature: she brought the “sweet honey” of wisdom, counseling, and peace to Israel, but she also carried a sharp military “sting” against oppressors. She wasn’t afraid to stand up for God’s people and she knew her worth. May we be inspired by her story to fully live out the divine purpose Father God has for each of us.
